making a huge upgrade to my system
Hey guys, I've decided to make a huge upgrade to my system and I was wondering if our local tech experts could check it out for me and see if there will be any compatibilities issues. These are the parts I'm looking at getting:

I'm also gonna need DDR3 ram for that mobo but I'm not sure what I'm looking for in it, I'll also need a hard drive, I was thinking something with 320gb but I'm not sure how the interface works. Also is that power supply overkill? Am I really gonna need 650W? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

The King
Good vid card, a $100 more gets you a next generation 260 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130370

The board choice sounds ok, I didn't check out on-line buzz yet. The processor sounds good. However the power supply is another issue. Your choice is for strictly running vid cards. You should research your power supplys well as the basis of a great functioning system is stable power on all the rails. I like the modular ones as they make cable management a snap. If you intend to use the SLI/crossfire goodies on the motherboard then I would be looking at 850 watts. Such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817379007
Be careful as the 9800 and above cards require the 8 pin (6 +2), X 2 if you are going SLI.
